Flash video will be played now inside player and not in flash popup window. We tried to arrange flash playback inside CherryPlayer similar to usual video playback where is possible.
Connected internal flash video playback with playlist's play/stop controls.
Added special playbar panel instead of usual playbar panel for internal flash video playback.
Connected on Windows 7 internal flash video playback with CherryPlayer taskbar's play/stop controls.
Added video context menu for internal flash video if right mouse click on flash video.

Fixed not worked downloading YouTube movies in HD quality. This bug presents in all previous CherryPlayer 2.0.x releases. To have properly worked downloading YouTube movies in HD quality please update CherryPlayer to latest 2.0.72 release.

Prepared portable version of CherryPlayer. Beginning from 2.0.8 every release will have portable and not-portable versions of release.
Portable version will save all your playlists and settings in "data 2.0" folder in CherryPlayer folder (where you installed and run CherryPlayer).
For example, from now you can place your CherryPlayer portable version on USB-flash and run CherryPlayer on different PCs with the same saved playlists and settings.
Also for example if you need to re-install OS then you will not lost your playlists and settings etc.
Not-portable version will work like to before and will save all your playlists and settings in user's folder.
For example if your OS installed on disk "C:\" then all your playlists and settings will be saved at "C:\Users\{YOUR_USER_NAME}\Local Settings\CherryPlayer\CherryPlayer 2.0\"
Added autoupdate feature. From 2.0.8 autoupdate will work much more user friendly - you should not download new version from website, player will download new version itself.
And if you installed CherryPlayer in folder with restricted permissions to write (for example "C:\Program Files\" on Win7 and Win8) then player will show you update dialog where you need to click simple "Update" button to run and complete autoupdate in a few clicks.
And if you installed CherryPlayer in folder without restricted permissions to write (XP or not-system folder on Win7 and Win8) then player will be updated in silent mode at next player start.
Improved a lot VK login work:
Fixed not worked sometimes searching/playback after returning PC back from sleep mode.
Fixed not worked in rare cases searching/playback in current session if search/play during login.
Fixed missed second video in video search results if total 2 search results were returned.
Fixed empty VK playlists sometimes after lost and restart internet connections.
Fixed empty VK playlists sometimes after returning PC back from sleep mode.

CherryPlayer 2.0.9

After a few months of work we released CherryPlayer 2.0.9 where we mostly focused on a few things:
- improving player perfomance;
- reduce memory usage;
- complete re-writing working with playlists;
- prepare structure to add some new features fast in next releases.

So if you install 2.0.9 and compare it with 2.0.8 then you probably will not find much changes from start except of fixed YouTube playback/downloading and Zajcev.net playback. But 2.0.9 has a lot of fixes that did not work properly in 2.0.8 version.

The main updates you can find in 2.0.9:
Fixed not worked sometimes playback and downloading all YouTube videos, and in some cases not worked playback and downloading only some YouTube videos.
Fixed not worked playback music from Zajcev.net.
Now any updates to playlist are saved immediately on disk without any overloading UI. Before updates to disk were saved only at player exit even when playlists had not updates.
Now after adding music/videos to playlist metadata will be read only for visible playlist items to save CPU and disk usage.
Fixed a few UI locking and in some cases crashes during adding 2k and more files from hard disk to playlist.
Optimized adding to playlist ~ 20k and more files, saving, moving, loading. We load now playlist content only if playlist selected and not at player start like to before.
Reduced a lot memory used by playlists, we have from 2 up to 12 times less memory used by playlists in new version if compare to 2.0.8.
Fixed not cancelled downloading (it works behind) if remove download item from 'My downloads' playlist.
Below is more detailed list of fixes coming with 2.0.9:
Optimized a lot perfomance in working left panel. It works more smoothly and faster now and uses less CPU resources.
Playlist will be NOT renamed to empty if change playlist's name to empty and try to save (press 'enter' or move focus to another control).
During playlist name edition replaced incorrect context menu to correct with 'Copy/Paste' options.
During playlist name edition Ctrl+X, Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V works now.
Fixed incorrect shown selected playlist as active in left panel when move cursor to "Create a new playlist" field.
Fixed absent white highlighting of playlist name during mouse hover over playlist name in left panel.
Fixed absent updating edited playlist name after moving focus to another control.
During expanding section in left panel removed selection first playlist in section.
Show drag&drop forbidden mouse icon if drag&drop 'My Tracks' playlist to 'Videos' section in left panel.
Show drag&drop forbidden mouse icon if drag&drop 'My Videos'/'My Downloads' playlists to 'Music' section in left panel.
Added white highlighting of playlist name in left panel if drag&drop over it.
Removed delay in expanding section in left panel with active playlist at player start.
Added support drag&drop text to edit playlist name field.
Fixed potential crash if remove last playlist in 'Music' or 'Videos' sections.
Removed repeated loading BBC/Billboard/Last.fm/VK playlists data if select playlist second time and data loading is still in progress.
Fixed incorrect shown tooltip value after changed button state and if mouse over button this time.
Improved perfomance of using buttons with images.
Improved perfomance of hidding/showing left panel. Less memory and CPU usage if left panel is hidden.
Optimized SoundCloud work.
Removed freezing UI a bit at player start (noteable if resize player).
Optimized and improved a lot perfomance during adding items to playlist.
Fixed huge increasing memory usage and then player crash if add a lot of files to playlist.
Fixed UI locking during adding a lot of files from disk to playlist, show loading animation now this time.
Added saving playlist content every 5 seconds during adding a lot of files from disk (if very long operation).
Now user playlists are loaded only after selecting playlist.
Removed saving playlists data on disk at player exit as all updates to playlist are saved now to disk immediately after changes.
Now reading metadata will be processed only for visible playlist items to save CPU/disk usage after adding tracks/videos to playlist.
Changed parsing metadata(duration, title) direction from bottom-to-top on top-to-bottom.
Fixed long player exit after adding a lot of files from disk to playlist and close player when metadata is beeing parsed still.
Reduced number of data updates for row in playlist UI after parsing item metadata to 1 update instead of 1-3 before.
Improved navigation between playlists in left panel.
In left panel show now section name if select playlist by mouse/keyboard and enough space to show section name.
In left panel removed functionality to move scrolling to 'My Tracks' or 'My Videos' section during adding file(s) if playback not started from playlist located in this section.
Fixed incorrect shuffle work if clear playlist and then add new tracks/videos to playlist.
Fixed incorrect blue highlighting playlist if clear all tracks/videos in playlist.
Changed work of 'Previous'/'Next' buttons to play tracks/videos from visible playlist if before all tracks/videos were removed in playable playlist.
Fixed not worked sometimes playback of any YouTube videos.
Fixed not worked sometimes downloading of any YouTube videos.

Now starting downloading from 'My downloads' will not create new copy of this video for downloading.
Now after removing download item from 'My downloads' downloading is cancelled too.
Now drag&drop tracks/videos on playlist will add new tracks/videos all time in the begin of list.
Fixed increasing a lot memory usage and long UI locking during moving item in the middle/end of playlist with ~2k+ items.
Fixed UI locking if add 2k tracks to playlist that has 3k-5k+ tracks and before playlist has been scrolled to the middle.
Reduced a lot memory usage during scrolling playlist.
During testing new version we can see less memory usage in 2-3 times if compare to old player version. With improved scrolling playlist we have very big improvement - in some cases new version uses up to 12 times less memory for the same playlist. For example, loading and scrolling by mouse wheel 17k items in new version takes 23MB, in old version the same takes 80MB, if consider that player with empty playlist takes 18MB then we have 62/5 = 12 times less memory usage.

CherryPlayer 2.0.91 has been released today with a few new important features and a few important bugs fixed:
Added menu over video to select video quality during YouTube video playback. For now only DASH 480p and 1080p are not supported but we plan to add like support in next releases too.
Added support drag&drop YouTube and HTTP urls from browser on player. Drag&drop on player adds url to playlist and starts playback. Drag&Drop on playlist only adds url to playlist. Additionally metadata is read for youtube url added via drag&drop from browser to playlist.
Added about dialog.
Fixed sometimes crash player during playback music from tops or from user's playlists if playback starts from Zaycev.net.
Playback from Zaycev.net starts much faster now.
Fixed not loaded translation if start player by double click to play associated with player file.
Changed colors of 'minimize', 'maximize' and 'close' buttons of main window to more visible, where 'close' button has a red color now.
Use now blue color to show all checked states in menu that looks more visible.

CherryPlayer 2.1.1

CherryPlayer 2.1.1 released!

Вышел CherryPlayer 2.1.1, в котором добавлено несколько новых возможностей среди которых, к примеру, возможность дополнительно скачивать с YouTube только Видео (без аудио) и только Аудио (без видео); возможность перейти к проигрываемому треку по одному нажатию на кнопке, расположенной на верхней панеле; возможность просматривать до 200 видео в каждом YouTube топ плейлисте. Также в 2.1.1 исправлены довольно серьезные ошибки, обнаруженные в версии 2.1.0 и предыдущих версиях. Мы советуем обновить плеер до новой версии 2.1.1.

Спасибо за рост интереса к плееру с Вашей стороны, благодаря вашим комментариям были обнаружены некоторые баги, которые были исправлены в 2.1.1. Пожалуйста, не стесняйтесь , и обращайтесь на [email protected] в случае найденного бага, либо с пожеланиями или идеями по поводу добавления актуальных и новых возможностей в плеер. Мы отмечаем все интересные предложения/идеи и добавляем их по-немногу в плеер с каждым новым релизом.

Список добавлений и исправлений в 2.1.1 следующий.

Новые возможности:

1. В диалоговом окне скачивания с YouTube дополнительно добавлены опции загрузить:
- только Видео (без аудио) 144p, 240p, 360p, 480p, 720p и 1080p разрешения;
- только Аудио (без видео) 48kbit/s, 128 kbit/s, 192 kbit/s и 256 kbit/s битрейт.
2. Увеличино количество видео, показываемое в YouTube топ плейлистах, до 200 видео. Каждое нажатие на кнопку "Показать больше" подгружает дополнительно 50 видео в YouTube топ плейлист.
3. Добавлена кнопка "Показать проигрываемое аудио/видео" на веррхней панели. Нажатие на эту кнопку показывает проигрываемый плейлист с проигрываемым треком/видео в центре плейлиста.
4. Добавлено автоматическое скролирование левой панели вверх/вниз, если во время перетаскивания файлов на левую панель курсор мыши будет находиться вверху/внизу левой панели.
5. Добавлена поддержка корейского и словенского языков.

Исправленные ошибки:

1. Исправлена неработающая загрузка некоторых YouTube видео.
2. Исправлено иногда непроигрываемое YouTube видео.
3. Исправлено неправильно отображающиеся не-английские (в том числе и русские) символы в результатах поиска SoundCloud.
4. Исправлено некорректная работа "Enter" в плейлисте. Это ошибка появилась в версии 2.1.0 после добавления поддержки выбора нескольких элементов в плейлисте. Например, из-за этой ошибки по нажатию "Enter" на выделенном новом треке/видео могло начаться повторное проигрывание предыдущего проигрываемого трека/видео, либо могло начаться проигрывание совсем другого (невыделенного) трека/видео.
5. Исправлено некорректная работа переименования плейлиста. Во время переименования плейлиста его имя отображалось дважды (одно поверх другого) и переименование не работало. Эта ошибка могла стать причиной возникновения других взаимосвязанных ошибок.
6. Исправлено неработающее добавление трека/видео по "+" из результатов поиска в любой плейлист пользователя. Это ошибка появилась в версии 2.1.0 после добавления поддержки выбора нескольких элементов в плейлисте.
7. Исправлено иногда отсутствующее последнее видео в результатах поиска с YouTube.
8. Исправлен иногда отсутствующий разделитель между различными доступными форматами для загрузки в меню "выбора качества загрузки" в окне загрузки.
9. Исправлено описание некоторых доступных форматов для загрузки в меню "выбора качества загрузки" в окне загрузки.
10. Поиск музыки со всех источников возвращает результаты быстрее.

2. Improved reading folders and files from local disk and adding them to playlist. Now files are added to playlist up to 7 times faster then in old version, that is more visible during adding a lot of files from fisk.

4. Increased step of increasing/decreasing volume.
5. Fixed not worked "Download" function in context menu shown for items in simple (first type) playlist view.
6. Fixed shown unchecked active item in "On Top" submenu if click on currently active item in this menu.
7. Removed additional processing "On Top" state if click in "On Top" submenu on item that has been selected before and currently is active.
8. Show autocomplete menu for search field by pressed "Down Arrow" key if this menu was hidden before by pressed "Esc" key.
9. Moving between variants in search autocomplete menu with "Up"/"Down" arrow keys updates now search field text with selected text in autocomplete menu.
10. Fixed sometimes playlist's content is not updated when left panel is hidden, search playlist is active and select playlist from menu.
11. Fixed sometimes playlist's content is not updated during adding files to it via OpenFile/OpenFolder if before adding files search playlist was active.
12. Fixed sometimes playlist's content is not updated if search playlist is active and click on selected playlist in left panel.
13. Fixed sometimes playlist's content is not updated if search playlist is active and press TAB to move focus on selected playlist in left panel.
14. Fixed incorrect shown active focus on selected playlist in left panel if click "Music" or "Video" search icons.
15. Removed incorrect worked "Ctrl+Up" and "Ctrl+Down" in playlist.
16. Improved working "PageUp" and "PageDown" in playlist, fixed some bugs found in working these hot keys, now they work like in Windows Explorer.
17. Show now selected items in playlist as selected but inactive if playlist lost focus.
18. Fixed not worked scrolling playlist by mouse wheel if begin drag one item and return it back.
19. Click on free space in playlist removes selection in playlist.
20. Click on free space in playlist moves active focus to playlist if it was not on playlist.
21. Changed color of "Maximize", "Minimize" and "Close" buttons in main window to nicer looking.
22. Fixed in installer: CherryPlayer icon can be placed now on the taskbar in Windows 7/8.

Добавлена поддержка Twitch чата. Во время проигрывания твич трансляции справа от видео расположена панель Twitch чата.
Вы можете только читать сообщения в чате, если вы незалогинены в Twitch.
Вы можете читать и отправлять сообщения, если вы залогинены в Twitch.
Поддерживаются смайлики.
Панель чата может быть скрыта/показана, а также вы можете изменять ширину панели.
Исправлено проигрывание YouTube, SoundCloud и Зайцев.нет.
