В общей части дается краткий обзор учения о патологии кисти, рассматри- вается кисть как орган, излагаются общие принципы организации профи- лактики, обследования и лечения больных с повреждениями и заболевания- ми кисти, приводятся статистика, классификация и номенклатура. В специ- альной части обширная глава посвящена острым воспалительным заболева- ниям кисти; должное внимание при этом уделено наблюдающимся в прак- тике ошибкам и их последствиям. Затем излагается клиническая картина состояний кисти при специфических хирургических инфекциях и общих заболеваниях. Отдельно рассматриваются еще недостаточно изученные забо- левания сочленений и вспомогательных соединительнотканных приборов су- хожилий кисти. Анализируются результаты консервативного и оперативного лечения их. Специальная глава посвящена опухолям кисти, в которой на кон- кретных примерах из личного опыта и иллюстрациях показаны их диагно- стика, лечение и исходы. При рассмотрении закрытых и открытых повреж- дений кисти подчеркивается значение первой помощи, очистки кожи, хи- рургической обработки ран, иммобилизации и восстановления нарушенных соотношений. При этом рекомендуются различные способы консервативного и оперативного лечения травм кисти. Приведен анализ наблюдающихся ос- ложнений, последствий, результатов лечения. В последней главе изложены вопросы медицинской реабилитации больных в условиях поликлиники. Издание рассчитано на широкий круг хирургов и травматологов.
