Custom Gothic (2009) - logotype font for Hollister Co

Generated 154 new characters for Abercrombie and Fitch’s Hollister C0. brand typeface. Design required using components from the existing 77 character font and components from Trade Gothic Bold Condensed no. 20. Diacritical marks were designed with existing Hollister letters combined with Trade Gothic components: acute, breve, circumflex, diaeresis, tilde, ring, cedilla, etc. Characters were re-drawn with round corners and proper weight to match the style of existing Hollister characters. Additional cleanup and re-drawing the original 77 characters resolved all imperfections that would appear obvious if the font were used in large format signage.
